ABS-CBN is a major commercial television network in the Philippines. It is the oldest and the leading television network in the country with an advertising revenue of ₱19 billion for the fiscal year 2012. It is a unit of the media conglomerate ABS-CBN Corporation. It was launched on 23 October 1953 under the name Alto Broadcasting System, and is among the first commercial television networks in Asia. Its headquarters are in Quezon City with regional offices and news bureaus in over 25 provincial areas throughout the country.


The flagship television station of ABS-CBN in Metro Manila is DWWX-TV (VHF channel 2) while provincially, the network operates through its Regional Network Group of 25 originating stations, 38 relay stations and 8 affiliate television stations. Its programming is also available outside the Philippines as The Filipino Channel.

DYAB Cebu is also has a television channel on SkyCable Cebu named DYAB TeleRadyo Cebu where the studio and hosts of its programs can be seen by its listeners and viewers.

DYRF Station Cebu

DYRF (1215 kHz Cebu City) Radyo Fuerza is an AM station owned and operated by Word Broadcasting Corporation in the Philippines. The studio is located at University of San Carlos, P. del Rosario Street, Cebu City, and its transmitter is located at Baranggay Kalunasan, Cebu City. DYRF-AM operates daily from sign-on at 4:00am to sign-off at 12:00mn. The format of the station is music, news, public service and religious.
